“I have worked with Ian Beers professionally across several different retailers because Ian has a gift of inspiring the people around him. I first met Ian as a new seasonal associate at an EXPRESS store that he managed. Little did I know this humble start in retail would turn into a career path because of my relationship with Ian.

Ian’s drive for success and passion for what he does spreads like wildfire to the people around him. His mixture of enthusiasm, ambition and charisma makes him a magnet for developing talent and results. I have known Ian as a Store Manager and a District Manager for the state of Ohio. His commitment to his people has stayed consistent whether it be his own team of managers or the Store Managers running his state. His mastery of empowering his staff to make them successful business owners is one of his greatest skills. Ian dedicates the time to make sure his leaders are well rounded while still keeping everyone lighthearted and making work an enjoyable atmosphere.

Ian is an invaluable asset to any company. My time working with him has given me a wealth of knowledge and has left a smile on my face. Ian always used to tell me ‘people work for people,’ and I definitely work for Ian Beers.”

— William Hollingsworth, Store Manager at UNTUCKit // worked together at J.Crew and at EXPRESS

“With an infectious personality and impressive skill-set, Ian Beers would be a welcome asset to any task he pursues. My experience at EXPRESS gave me a first-hand opportunity to work with the genius that is Ian Beers, a rare talent that has an incredible eye for detail and visual presentation. When our store in Strongsville, Ohio transitioned from two separate stores into a single, dual-gender outlet with some unusual architectural conditions, I was able to witness Ian's keen adaptation abilities. These competencies were recognized throughout our district, as well as our entire company, as illustrated by his success as a Visual Communications Coordinator later in his career with EXPRESS.

Along with his outstanding aptitude as a Visual Manager, Ian possesses a charismatic persona that works incredibly well in the retail environment. In my time working with Ian, I learned much of my personal selling technique by his example, which entails providing a comfortable customer experience while successfully managing the business practices needed to compete in the retail world. Ian has truly been an impressive model of not only a brilliant visual manager, but also how to successfully perform in the retail business. I give my highest recommendations of Ian Beers in whatever career path he chooses.”

— Jonathan Alvares, Director of Operations and Production at Three Point Media // worked together at EXPRESS

“In the time that Ian was a Visual Coordinator he brought a great deal to the role. His experience in the Field brought a fresh perspective to the Home Office Visual Team. Additionally, in this role, cross functional relationships are business critical and Ian excelled at building and maintaining them. He is detail oriented, has a very strong work ethic and, even when tensions were high, always maintained a sense of humor.

In my opinion, Ian would do great work in any environment where relationship building and team oriented projects are involved.”
