Berea Building Blocks: The Triangle by Ian Beers

BUILDING BLOCKS: THE TRIANGLE | $55
BEREA: THE GRINDSTONE CITY. While most small cities are built around a square - the quintessential, All-American "town square" - Berea is unique in that it is built on a triangle (due to the angle of the Rocky River). What makes The Triangle more interesting yet, is that the buildings on each of its three sides hail from different eras (this is because of the late 1960's/early 1970's "Urban Renewal Project" which demolished most of the original buildings & built the Berea Commons on the south side of The Triangle. Townhouses were added to the Rocky River side in the late 1990's). This piece features the historic side of The Triangle, original buildings in tact; the very image that springs to mind when any Berean hears the phrase "downtown Berea."

NOTE: Due to my recent relocation to Columbus, this item is not currently available for purchase. Contact me if you really, really need this item :)

ABOUT THE COLLECTION
The Building Blocks collection features the civic gathering places that are the very building blocks of a community - iconic images of The Grindstone City transformed into pop art & printed onto glossy canvas. This collection eliminates the need for traditional framing because the image wraps completely around all edges.
